体育平台Mingda Qiu is the research associate with the Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His current research foci are Chinese politics, the role that the Communist Party plays in China’s economy, and China’s industrial policy. Previously, he headed the research support for the China Innovation Policy Series—an initiative to better understand both Chinese innovation policy and the actual performance record of Chinese efforts at high-technology innovation. Prior to joining CSIS, he conducted China-focused research at King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center in Saudi Arabia and the Energy Studies Institute of the National University of Singapore. Mingda earned a Master of International affairs, with concentrations in international politics and economy, from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego. He also received a Bachelor of Social Sciences (honors) in political science from the National University of Singapore.
